Alana Horner

Partner

Alana Horner is a Partner at HKH Elder Law, where she focuses on probate and trust administration, estate planning, and Medicaid planning.

Alana grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida. She joined HKH Elder Law as a law clerk in 2018 and began her practice as an attorney in January 2019. When Alana was young, her grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, and she watched her father navigate the challenges of caregiving for his elderly parents over many years. That experience gave her a firsthand understanding of the emotional and legal complexities families face as loved ones age, and inspired her to pursue Elder Law as a career.

Outside of the office, Alana enjoys hiking, snowboarding, reading, and spending time with her extended family. She is also an avid traveler, with recent adventures including exploring Egypt, Israel, and Jordan, backpacking to Machu Picchu in Peru, and visiting parts of Southeast Asia.
