Alana Horner is a partner at HKH Elder Law, where she focuses her practice on probate and trust administration, Medicaid planning, and estate planning.

Alana grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida. She joined HKH Elder Law as a law clerk in 2018 and began practicing as an associate attorney in January 2019 before becoming a partner with the firm in 2024. Growing up, her paternal grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and Alana watched her father navigate the challenges of caring for his elderly parents over many years. That experience gave her a firsthand understanding of the emotional and legal complexities families face as loved ones age and inspired her to pursue a career in elder law. In her practice, Alana strives to make complex legal issues approachable and to provide families with practical, thoughtful guidance as they plan for the future and navigate life’s transitions.

Outside of the office, Alana enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, and cheering on the Florida State Seminoles. She is also an avid traveler and has explored five continents, with only two left to go.
