Kathleen Good is an attorney at HKH Elder Law, where she focuses her practice on estate planning, probate and trust administration, guardianship, and Medicaid planning.  

Kathleen joined HKH Elder Law in 2024 after a career in public service, with more than two decades serving various roles in real estate and economic development for Pinellas County Government. During this time, she became involved with various projects that served the elder community, which gave her an appreciation for the importance of creating communities where older adults can live with dignity, independence and security. These experiences began her transition into elder law.

Kathleen discovered elder law was her true calling through a personal crisis. When her mother was diagnosed with dementia, her family faced an endless series of challenges trying to navigate long-term care and government benefits. She discovered firsthand the importance of compassionate legal support during this vulnerable time. It was then that she realized she wanted to help others facing similar struggles. She strives to help families navigate the legal challenges of aging and believes good elder law is about understanding the person, the family and the goals that matter most.

Outside of the office, Kathleen enjoys participating in community bands, art exhibits and martial arts classes when she can find time. Planning trips domestically and abroad to see her extended family is her favorite hobby, if not at home spending time with her immediate family of fur children.
